Yoga has been part of my life for over 20 years. I started practising as a teenager and since then have studied with some wonderful teachers around the world. Yoga leads me through life as a student, school teacher and mother and I hope to pass on some of my enthusiasm to you!
I began teaching Yoga to children and adults 12 years ago and qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga. I teach a gentle but effective style, often called Viniyoga.
What is Yoga?
There are many aspects of yoga, not only the physical exercises and meditation most are aware of. Yoga has been evolving for over 5000 years and provides a set of tools which can help us stay open, focused and steady through the spiralling path of modern life. The aim of yoga is oneness; of mind, body spirit and with the universe. It is not religious but often helps students develop their spirituality and love of life
Yoga With Lynn
I teach 1:1 and group classes.
1:1 classes are suitable for individuals who would like to develop a personal yoga practice.
The classes I currently run are for mothers (or fathers) and babies / toddlers.
I am a member of the Vereniging Yogadocenten Nederland, hold a Master of Public Health degree and am a qualified complimentary therapist. I am an early years special needs teacher at the British School of Amsterdam.
